Dr. Vinothini have been actively involved in many researches and clinical trials. She has done across wide range of topics in family medicine such as, dysmenorrhoea, lifestyle habits, BMI relations with fasting blood cholesterol and WHR, cancer research, proteomic studies, urinary incontinence, gut health and constipation, asthma, HIV/AIDS, dyspepsia and eye disorder.

Editorial Contributions:

Dr. Vinothini has also contributed in MBBS books for year 1 – 5 medical students covering chapters such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, paediatric, surgery, immunology, pathology, cardiovascular, respiratory, gynaecology, gastrointestinal and central nervous system.

Academic Roles:

Dr. Vinothini is an experienced educator, having taught at University Malaya from 2001 – 2004, was a Deputy Dean in Segi University (2014 – 2018) and carries an Associate Professor title from Mahsa University (2019 – 2021).
