In recent years, the development of medical care has undergone revolutionary changes, the number of regenerative therapy clinical trials has shown its disruptive nature, including cell-based therapy and bioactive molecule therapy (BMT). A bioactive molecule-based strategy has been frequently used as a practical tool for regulating cellular processes. The bioactive molecule is two or more amino acids that include a broad range of factors in the human body, however, the function, is to repair tissue, regulate cell growth, cell dedifferentiation, and reprogramming.
With the rapid development of tissue engineering, as defined, it is a novel interdisciplinary field that combines with life science for a new milestone in regeneration technologies. BMT contributes significantly to tissue repair and regeneration of soft tissue, bacteria suppression, skin repair, and endogenous repairing potential.
Bioactive molecules are stable and safe, and their capability of modulating host tissue responses and preventing these complications has been identified. At the same time, the inflammation is greatly reduced, whilst it demonstrates an impact to accelerate the overall process of tissue repair, regeneration, and remodeling by BMT.
